Not too soon after, Ryuka and Tereya were hot on their heels. They were careful not to lose sight of the two's presences, though they knew the way was only straight. It was an instinctive move to ensure that they would not be lost.
Immediately, Ryuka and Tereya followed suit, glad to find themselves once again on the solid ground that was the Soul Society. "Home, sweet home..." The Injiki muttered, looking around at the area.
"The question is, where do we start looking for this enemy?" Tereya questioned, putting a hand on her hip as she looked over at Ryuka.
"The latest string of cases were located near the place of the murder, so that's what we're going to investigate." The man stated calmly. "I'm hoping we can find some clues there as to where the man's killer was."
"Thank you..." The reply was rather sarcastic, though, as Ryuka accepted the gesture. Immediately, he Flash Stepped into thin air, disappearing into the afternoon air. Tereya was not too far behind.
The house itself looked quite abandoned. Newly patched boards were on the windows, and the framework was dingy and dusted - something that seemed quite abandoned. Either that, or the owner didn't bother to clean up after himself. Ryuka walked towards the door, reached for the knob, and turned it to slowly push it open.
He seemed to disappear inside the building as he stepped in.
