The Clans are an idea I got from a former Naruto Forums I was a member of. A clan is where both new users and veteran users get together and form a group. The three Signers of the Clan act as the clan's leader and decision maker. They will be assigned moderator ranks for their clan only. This is helpful for a couple of reasons; 1. Users become more familiar with each other; promoting friendship and forum harmony (hopefully...)
2. New users that join a clan learn the rules, meet other people, and get experience, quicker than they would if they had just done it on their own.
3. Those three Clan Signers are being watched for how well they preform as Moderators of their Clan. Should the need for a new Admin arise (if a current admin becomes inactive, leaves, or is banned for bad behavior), a Clan Signer would have experience as a Mod, and therefore would be a candidate to voted on by the current Administration.
In a clan, you are free to discuss Role Play strategies, organize Clan Roleplays, for the Roleplaying forum, discuss Anime or Manga, pretty much anything as long as it follows site rules.
