Kirasei has medium-long black hair, letting it grow loose and blood-red eyes. He still wears his ANBU special unit clothes, as a memory to his fallen friends and to remind him that he's a hunter-nin and the Akatsuki are missing-nin's. This attributes to his cold and mysterious personality, making most people avoid him on the street. He still has his ANBU tattoo on his left shoulder, and proudly wears it.

Background: Long before Kirasei was born, his ancestors, inherited from the same clan as Haku, moved from their clan in the Land of Water to the Land of Ice, a small clan in the upper north, with bone-chilling winds and daily avalanches close to it's main village, Aisugakure.

When he was gone one day on a mission to kill a B-ranked missing-nin from the village, he found his village in ruïns, and saw the Akatsuki walk away from the village. He wanted to chase after them , but understood that they would just kill him. So, he left the Land of Ice and started traveling across the globe, becoming better and searching information on the Akatsuki.

When he became 27, he adopted Hope and sealed part of the Two-Tails' chakra into her. When he did this, he had no idea how to take care of Hope, until Yuè Kuwashii came around, healing Hope, who was near death, and gave Kirasei advice about how to care of her. Kirasei then attempted to join her group, but he was rejected. After seeing the reason in it, Kirasei became an important spy and ally to the Bukegetsuei.

Overall Fighting Ability: He's part of Haku's clan, and has the Kekkei Genkai of Ice Release by combining Wind and Water Release. He can also summon wolves and has developed a series of spying techniques.
