| At first, he raised his hands, one on the blade, in order to effectively black the oncoming strike. He waited patiently as the human missile charged him from the depths of the air. Then.... He quickly pulled his blade out of the way, reached with his free hand, and caught Meimu's blade with the bareness of his palm.

| "Not as much as this will...." An electrical burst of energy went from Manaka's hand to Meimu's sword arm. A second later, he tugged roughly, and the part of her arm that held it to her body combusted violently. The result was a bloody shower of gore, spilling onto the ground.

| She used her other arm to wrench the burning one out of Manaka's grasp and began to apply first-aid Kido to it.

| Manaka leaped forward, his arm pulled back in front of him. Now that her blade was gripped in the arm cut off, her defenses were wide open. In order for her to survive, she would have to dodge. When he was in range of her body, he swung his blade upwards, hoping for a finishing blow.

| She vanished with Shunpo carrying her arm and gripped her sword. "Got to get this arm back on! Broadcast.....SEKENKI!" She cried and her blade shattered. "Surrender yourself to an Illusionary world." She creating an Illusion and suddenly it appeared as if they were in a forest and Manaka...was alone.

| Taking a deep breath, Manaka surveyed his surroundings. It was fairly obvious this was now an illusion. The fact of the change of scenery, along with the fact that his opponent had disappeared proved it. In either way, he could at least regain some vital strength before finding someone way to break out. He took a deep breath in, and exhaled in order to calm his heart.

| Another illusion. Narrowing his eyes, Manaka merely raised his sword and Flash Stepped behind it, as if preparing to attack its back. But, the damage had already been done; a quick flick of his wrist had been in play when he had initiated the Flash Step. With that, it dissipated immediately.

| The illusion broke and there was Meimu standing with both arms intact and holding a green blade. "Nice to see me again, right?"
