"....I guess you're right." Kyuui muttered reluctantly. She walked over to Kenji and hoisted an arm over her shoulders in order to carry him properly. "I just wonder what he'll say when he sees us bringing a stranger to his shop..."
Making sure Aoi had a firm hold, Kyuui took off into a run, maintaining her own grip on Kenji's arm. "Why do you suppose that woman was after him?" She questioned.
"I'm not quite sure. Maybe he got on her bad side." Aoi mused. "She seemed nice enough when I spoke with her. I tried to set her up with AUntie Mido." I'll do what I please
The same blow ultimately caused the man to wake up, startling Kyuui with a yelp. "Aah!" In pain, he tore himself away from their grip and held his face, groaning as he staggered back. "Nnn...."
"Be nice!" Kyuui scolded, glaring at her sister. "He just went through something terrible!"
Fortunately, Kenji didn't register the comment directed toward him, immersed in trying to regain his vision. Then, the nerve that held his ache in his neck dormant now activated, and he stumbled to the ground on his knees, an incoherent curse erupting from his mouth.
