Gritting his teeth and shutting one eye, he braced himself as a wide beam of energy erupted from his wound, sending a ferocious pain throughout his body. That beam hit his aunt head-on, like a Cero blast. He himself, out of the intense pain, was forced to descend, landing in a crouched form and holding his side.
Panting heavily, and a trickle of blood coming from his mouth, he asked wearily, "Remember when I cut through that dragon of yours?"
