| "Oh?" Instead of feinting hurt, Taiki nodded thoughtfully. "All right, then. I suppose that protectin' myself from my sister is gonna be my job still...." Slowly, he got up from the table, his eyes staring calmly at Midoriko's. "Drawing your sword in a place like this? Mom and Dad wouldn't be very happy if I let you did that." His own hand gripped his hilt, and his body illuminated with the outline with his own spiritual energy. "Guess I got no choice but to stop you...."

Said mother said nothing, too full of the "morning exhaustion" in order to make an agreement or comeback with her son.

"Taiki for tickin' off Mido, Mido for shootin' it in the first place, and you for encouragin' it." She took her respective seat. Taiki frowned a little, but decided not to comment as he sat down as well.
