Gritting his teeth, Taiki attempted his best to fight against the overwhelming pressure that surrounded the two combatants, as he pushed against Midoriko's sword for dominance. True to his word, he was applying all of his pressure directly to his opponent's sword, in an attempt to snap it in half.

A loud scream, raw, pained, and furious, erupted from Taiki's lips, as he felt the power surge around him. He could feel the flames licking and picking at his skin as he pushed, adrenaline pumping throughout his entire body. Even the blades themselves seemed to quiver under the immense power they were both giving off, a fearsome sight behold.

Taiki was the first one to hit the ground. Vision blurring, and nerves numbing slightly, he could only close his eyes as he was forcibly tumbled along the ground like a tumbleweed, slinking to a stop like a ragdoll. His hands had now bled from gripping his Zanpakuto too tightly, adding to his now grimly appearance.
