| It wasn't something to surprise the other man. A first attack was usually weak in the terms of an official battle, in order to test out the opponent's strength. In that moment, it was up to him to decide on what to do. Disappoint Aace by dodging the attack, or blocking it and allowing a part of his strength to be fully seen. He decided on the latter. Raising one hand, he "caught" the attack, stopping it in its tracks and dispelling it into particles.

| Another Flash Step was all it took for Shinta to get around the busied Aace's defenses. The next second, he wrapped his arms around the whole of Aace's neck, securing him in a tight headlock. "I've had enough of these ridiculous attacks..." He muttered. "Fight seriously, or don't fight at all." Like a pincer, his arm muscles tightened, pressurizing both the windpipe and the bones in the throat. It continued to tighten, with the intention of snapping the man's neck in two.

| Thanks to quick reaction, Shinta pulled away from his grip on Aace's neck, avoiding the blade as it pierced through Aace's own body. He allowed himself to skid back, one hand on his own Zanpakuto hilt. "Did you think that I couldn't track your movements?" He questioned.
