| The force of the blow sent Ryuka scrambling back a few steps, holding his jaw out of both shock and pain. Then, he jerked his head and came in again. This time, the tip of his blade attacked in a lunge position at Ahatake's crouched form.

| Ryuka's eye widened out of realization, but his hand reached out and caught the blade before it could slice his head in tw halves. A grin appeared across his face as he gripped tightly, making sure not to let go. "Gotcha." He raised his own sword, letting out a yell that would've made the Confederates proud. His blade sang in the air as it swung down with immense force.

| Ahatake tore one hand off of his blade and charged a cero with it and fired the cero not at Ryuka, but at Ryuka's blade.

| "Hmm...." Tereya mused, eyeing the fight in curiousity and study. "That's quite odd." That caused Kyashi to look at her in confusion. "What?" "I haven't seen them release their Shikai yet. I wonder why...." The brown-haired woman observed. Oh, yes. Ryuka had been nice enough to inform her of their first confrontation. Upon the full releasing of their Zanpakuto's, they caused severe destruction to the forest that had been their battle arena around them. Kyashi bit her bottom lip, chewing on it a bit out of anticipation. If they did the same thing here, there'd be no stopping them. It'd be a battle to the death again. And she didn't want that.

| "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Ahatake yelled swing his blade only to have it be blocked by Ryuka and then Vanishing with Shunpo to parry one of Ryuka's attacks. "We seem to be even so far...or are you holding back?"
