"And when all this is said and done, you'll pay for the people you killed, keeping my father against his will, and somehow dragging my son into your group. I've already killed off you Arrancar. What makes you think I can't kill off you?"

| Jiriki looked on stoically at the mass of fire, the burning emblems of ash illuminating his face. He raised his scythe blade once more, muttering a sole word of "Pathetic..." before bringing it down. The blade tore through the flames like separation of the waters.

| Jiriki's presence was now right beside the man, facing in the opposite direction from him. His scythe was lowered once more, along with his head slightly. He still had his eyes closed, waiting ever so patiently for what was never to come. He seemed quite relaxed, despite standing right beside of his enemy.

| Jiriki still didn't turn around. But he raised the butt of his scythe towards the blast, waiting patiently. Once the Cero collided with it, it was forcefully split and dispelled into the particles of reiatsu that it was made out of.

| Ahatake charged in, twirling his blade by the cloth on the hilt and threw it at Jiriki.

| Due to their close proximety, Jiriki simply turned around and batted it away with the back of his scythe blade. Then, without hesitation, he gripped the blade with both hands and swung at Ahatake's exposed torso.
